Is the Eclipse a good car? I want to get either a 2001, 2002 or 2003. Any advice would be great, because I heard that Mitsubishi made really bad cars, but I am in love with the Eclipse!

yes, they are very good cars. I had a 98 and then i upgraded to an 06 when they came out. i love them! they have reasonable trunk space (you'd be amazed at what you can get in there!), and the back seat is far more comfortable in comparison to say, the mustang...my friend had a mustang, and she loved the backseat of my eclipse. oh, and all the while i had and have had my cars, i never had any problems other than normal wear like oil changes and brakes...nothing major went wrong with either of them.
all in all, i love my eclipse and i hope this helps you decide to get one!!!!

this is like comparing apples to oranges, they're completely diverse autos. The Mitsubishi Eclipse is a FWD or AWD compact activities vehicle with a 2.0 N/A or turbocharged 4 cylinder. The 3000GT is a FWD or AWD Grand Tourer with a three.0 N/A or twin turbocharged V6.

To sum up, the eclipse looks good but you need the skills of a mechanic.
the eclipse is a good car. they had rear motor mount problems on late models. just be sure it has a good service history, all of the maintenance has been done, and so long as you take care of it, it should be a good car. plus they look sharp.

I have a 04' with 24,000 miles on it so far I have had two minor problems but it is still under warranty. But otherwise it's has been a good car so far. It has good gas mileage, I have averaged around 30 mpg.
