Yeah, you can of course! But the only problem is, the Vortex generator works in conjunction with the Evo spoilers. The generator directs the air onto the top of the spoiler at high speed for greater downforce, therefore more stability. Without the high spoiler, it'll just be there for aesthetic reasons. And I don't think it'll look nice but rather odd.

Are you talking about the so-called economy device that fits into your engine's intake? Don't do it. They are a complete waste of money. Some are so poorly made that they break apart while in place and get sucked into the engine. That is a Very Bad Thing.

If you mean the little fins that stick to the exterior of your car and (hopefully) generate vortices that help improve airflow around your car, read up more about them. I'm on the fence myself.

I'm an avid hypermiler. Managing airflow around the car is one of the most important things to getting good mileage; vortex generators may be able to help that, but the research on the ones available to the general public is sketchy.

Will it look good? Okay, I guess that eliminates the engine intake possibility. In my opinion, no. It won't look good. If it gets me better mileage it might be worth it, though. You have to consider your own priorities.

I would go with the mitsubishi lancer Evo 8 because I belive it to have more style than the impreza. Eventhough the impreza has more power.

It will look nice and sporty but requires a specific spoiler for it to work. Of course, if your going for looks, than its Ok. But some people who knows a lot about these will say: "Whats the point of those, when the car doesn't have a big spoiler?".

Those things are garbage. The people who make and sell them are intentionally stealing your money and profiting from consumer wishful thinking.
